Area hop growers supply nearly 80% of the US crop of brewing's crucial ingredient, making up more than 20% of the world supply. Prosser is also home to the annual Prosser Beer & Whiskey Festival held each August highlighting craft breweries and distilleries from throughout the Northwest.
