What your Prosser Chamber of Commerce does for You!
- Holds bi-monthly lunch and breakfast meetings with relevant programs of interest to the business community.
- Designs and maintains one of Washington State's most visited websites promoting Prosser as a tourist and visitor destination.
- Operates a highly visible VISITOR'S INFORMATION CENTER from Depot Square.
- Publishes the Tourism e-zine, working to promote Prosser as a tourist destination
while promoting local business in a monthly newsletter. - Promotes Prosser in many of the the Northwests leading travel publications. We place ads in The Washington State Visitor's Guide, Yakima Valley Visitor's Guide, Tri-Cities Visitor's Guide.
- Produces a yearly Chamber Membership Directory (source of business contacts).
- Has an active Tourism committee, promoting how you can enjoy "The Good Life" in Prosser. This committee promotes Prosser's events and Prosser as a fabulous desination or weekend getaway.
- Has an active Historic Downtown Retail committee which promotes Prosser as a wonderful shopping center. Promoting our historical home and building tours
- Maintains a COMMUNITY CALENDAR of public events, local organization's meetings and publishes it monthly in the local newspaper. Provides Public relations services as Prosser's Official "Non-governmental" organization.
- Sponsors the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Prosser's Wine & Hot Jazz Bash, Scottish Fest, Prosser's Best Run, 4th of July Celabration, Art Walk and Wine Gala, A Little Nite Music, States Day celabration "Labor Day", Harvest Festival, Street Painting Festival, Family Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas Celebration, Prosser Float and Miss Prosser Program.
- Sponsors the Annual Community Awards Banquet and presents the Prosser Volunteer of the Year. Prosser Outstanding Lady of the Year, Distinguished Service, and Outstanding Citizen Awards.
- Supports and works closely with a variety of activities, such as Good Roads Association, Spring Rally Cleanup Days, Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, Business Week and others.
